Akila Bharatha Mahila Seva Samaja (ABMSS) was set up in the year 1993 in Bangalore to promote the social causes of child and women welfare. Over the years, the organization has morphed from a catalyst, supporter, Promoter, and sponsor for many causes.
Since 2013, the organization went on to add the cleft lip and palate treatment as one of its major programmes under the generous support of
Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe e.V., Germany and many other local donors in India. It started with just two projects in Coorg and Mysore and has now grown into a pan India presence.
Apart from cleft lip and palate, the organization also supports awareness work in rural areas; education of doctors and medical personnel involved in supporting the charitable cause; speech and my-functional therapy; and supplementing
with vitamin and minerals to pregnant women and malnourished children.

We want to see every Cleft Child in our nation getting comprehensive care

at the right time even in remote areas.

We atABMSSbelieve that every child has the right to a dignified life.

We give cleft children a second chance to lead a normal life by gifting them a simple surgery.
